SANTIAGO TELLEZ
FOUNDER - LEVEL ONE PERFORMANCE
Rush Wisconsin West Academy Director and founder of LVL ONE Performance, Coach Santiago Tellez is a U.S. Licensed soccer coach with experience across professional academies, collegiate soccer, and elite player development environments in both the United States and internationally.
With a background as a professional player in Colombia and development experience in England with Bolton Wanderers, Santiago brings a modern, high-performance approach focused on technical excellence, tactical intelligence, confidence, and real-game application.
Over the past years, he has coached and developed players from youth academy levels through high-performance environments, helping athletes improve not only their soccer abilities, but also their mentality, discipline, and understanding of the game.
BACKGROUND EDUCATION
Coach Santiago holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration along with studies in Sports Management and Athletic Event Planning. He has also completed advanced coaching and analysis education through Barça Innovation Hub and CONMEBOL, specializing in scouting, match analysis, coaching leadership, and player performance.
Academy Director
As Academy Director at Rush Wisconsin West, Santiago led the development structure for academy players while overseeing coaching methodology, curriculum implementation, and long-term player development programs across multiple age groups.
Professional & International Experience
Coach Santiago played professionally in Colombia with academy and professional environments including Fortaleza CEIF and La Equidad. He also trained and developed within English football environments through Bolton Wanderers, gaining exposure to high-level European methodologies and player development systems.
COACHING
Coach Santiago has coached across academy, collegiate, and elite youth environments, including serving as Assistant Coach at Viterbo University and Head Coach at DME Academy Sarasota.
Through LVL ONE Performance, he has trained more than 150 players through personalized individual training, small-group sessions, tactical analysis, and high-performance development programs designed to prepare players for the next level of the game.
His coaching philosophy combines professional standards, intensity, creativity, and positional understanding to create complete players capable of performing confidently in real match environments.
